What are you doing to recruit lifeguards and retain them after hire? Or, what has your employer done to recruit you and make the job enjoyable?
Although I came into my job as a certified lifeguard, my facility offers lifeguard training at a smaller expense than other facilities offering the same certification. I feel like that in-and-of-itself brings more people to your pool, both looking for a job and just to have the certification. One thing I like that my employer does, is he offers skills training every few months, just to keep it fresh in your mind of the different saves and head holds when rescuing.
