What does swimming do for your body?
I am a seasoned runner and know all of the benefits that come along with running. Recently my knee has been bothering me, so I am thinking about taking to the pool for a low-impact workout. What does swimming do for your body? And how quickly can you expect to see the results?
Swimming has more benefits than just weight loss in terms of what it can do for your body. Some of which include; increased flexibility, stronger core, toned muscles, it’s low impact-- which means happy joints, cardiovascular conditioning, increased lung capacity, and of course, it’s a big calorie burner.
