Improve swimming endurance
Does anyone know how to improve swimming endurance? I can swim about 500 yards before I get tired, but want to be able to swim longer. Every time I try to swim more than 500 yards I am huffing and puffing and ready for a nap.
Endurance improves over time. First, keep swimming 500 yards until you feel confident enough to swim 600. Next, swim 600 yards for a week or so. Just keep tacking on a few laps onto your workout every couple of weeks, before you know it you’ll be swimming 1,000 yards!
