Swimming for weight loss...
I am curious how to swim for weight loss. Does it differ from regular lap swimming? Does one stroke burn more calories than the others?
Swimming is great for weight loss, especially the butterfly stroke-- which burns the most amount of calories per lap! The water causes a natural, low-impact resistance which works in your favor burning calories quicker, while simultaneously building muscle without causing any stress on your joints.
Swimming laps regularly (3+ times per week) is what really helped me lose weight. Depending on your skill level, try swimming for at least an hour each time you’re in the pool!
